International seminar "Using eHealth data for informed decision-making and increased quality of health care in Russia"

In Russia, digitization of health records is rapidly developing and new demands for higher quality and more efficient use of eHealth data are emerging. Norway and the UK have been in the vanguard of this so applying their knowledge and experience in Russia may guide fruitful insights of the possibilities for better health care through surveillance of case fatality and other adverse outcomes. On the other hand, the relatively young Russian eHealth system builds up in the age of a more advanced e-technology allowing to generate innovations of reciprocal interest.
The seminar is part of the Russian-Norwegian project of the same name, which is run in 2020-2021 with support from the Norwegian Ministry of Health. It brought together eHealth specialists, healthcare givers, and researchers from Norway, the UK, Lithuania, and Russia to exchange experience and new knowledge of making the value from digital health data for better-informed decision making, improving health care, and health research.
