announces a call for applications for a Research Assistant position

! Applicant must be a student or PhD student for a period until 29.12.2023
! Applicant must not be working on one of the projects of International Laboratories in HSE in 2023

Responsibilities:

1. Processing and analysis of demographic data in R Studio or STATA;

2. Assistance in preparing manuscripts of articles, presentations and reports;

3. Participation in research projects of the Laboratory;

4. Search and analysis of the literature.

 Qualifications:

1. Education in the field of sociology / demography / health care / econometrics / data analysis;

2. Advanced computer literacy, the ability to search for information and scientific publications on a given topic;

3. Candidate must be able to handle statistical software such as R Studio or STATA;

4. English language proficiency (candidate must be able to work with scientific manuscripts, to prepare presentations, to give speeches at conferences).

 What we can offer you:

1.    Employment full-time for the period:

 03.04.2023 - 29.12.2023;

 02.05.2023 - 29.12.2023;

 01.06.2023 - 29.12.2023.

2.    Working with the scientific leaders in the field of demography, epidemiology, and young promising researchers;

3.    Possibility of contract extension, admission to postgraduate studies at the Higher School of Economics and other European Universities;
